Middle School

Down To Earth is considering expanding into middle school. This would be a “sister school” that collaborated with DTE in the forest during our seasonal celebrations and adolescents would show up as mentors for the Down to Earth students on occasion, but largely this program would be separate.

Pedagogically we believe adolescence is a time for autonomy, exploration and self discovery. Philosophically, we are pulling from concepts similar to Liberated Learners, Agile Learning, Acton Academies and Sudbury models- in essence, educational self determination and school democracy.

We are hosting two middle school information sessions, January 20th and February 3rd, both at 5 p.m. If you would like to attend, please RSVP here.

If you are interested in mid-year enrollment for our Elementary program, please fill out the form below and note that in the message box. We have limited availability.

We endeavor to respond to emails and form submissions within a few business days. If you haven’t heard back from us, please check your spam or junk folder!
