2024 — 2025 Down to Earth Forest School Calendar

Inclement Weather Closures:

We follow West Linn/Wilsonville Public Schools for major storms and snow events. If WLWV is cancelled then so are we. If they have a delayed start then Down to Earth is cancelled. There are events that will close Down to Earth even when WLWV is open.

• Director(s) will determine prior to opening hours, whether or not to open the school. Families will be notified by email and text message

• If the school must close during hours of operation because of snow or storm the director(s) will notify parents by telephone and email

• If weather conditions prevent a parent or legal guardian from reaching the school to recover a child, the staff will care for the child (maintaining proper child:staff ratios) until such time as the parent, legal guardian, or emergency contact person can safely claim the child. The disaster supplies will be used as needed
