At DTE Forest School we recognize that children come into this world full of wonder, curiosity and an intrinsic desire to learn. Each child also has a set of unique gifts and traits to contribute to their community they might not be aware of.  We see our role as guides to help embrace and foster those traits while also modeling compassion, resiliency, imagination, self awareness and critical thinking. Children with a strong relationship to and connection with the natural world, and who have cultivated their own autonomy, resilience and sense of self, are well equipped to thrive in and contribute to our ever-changing world.
